I have heard portions of this before - probably as background music in a movie or TV show - but I don't think I have heard the entire thing until now. When I saw the title, I wondered if it was the same song as the '90s hit, but it turns out that it is not. Upon listening to it a second time I realized what it is... the opening has some strong similarities to the theme from the I Dream of Jeannie TV show.
It is easy to see how this would get people dancing. It does have a rather infectious rhythm to it. The brass is a bit overpowering at times, but that probably was part of the appeal. As a brass player I do like a strong brass sound, but at some points here the trumpets are a bit piercing.
